(yea, this may seem a bit late but it's still the new year right?haha)

let's start off the new year well, so i'm here to clarify some matters.

i think most of us have burnt a deep hole in our pockets for birthday celebrations and our side activities last year. To prevent the recurrence, we will be collecting Trackists's fund (this feels like we're back in jc lol).

Each of us will be paying $5 for each birthday celebrated, totaling of $60,excluding your own birthday).
Payment can be made in a lump sum or by installments to a designated person.
Payments will be tracked to ensure that everyone contributes equally. But please do not feel pressured if you have any difficulties with this arrangement; simply drop me a message and we'll work something out(:
The money will be equally spent for lunch/dinner celebration for the birthday person.
Hence, presents will be given at your own will. You may wish to share presents but the cost is not borne by the Trackists' fund.
The remaining money(if any) will be used for any other occassions, if necessary

Please note that this arrangement will only take effect from 1 Feb onwards. Also, we'll be doing a rotation of planning of birthdays, which will be decided soon.

OK people, there has been a slight change of plan. Paddy's in a food court, so I decided that for ease of choice and lack of places for reservation, we shall go Shokudo. etails as of follow:

Alright people this is for those who are attending the year-end countdown! I will NEED your guys to choose the style of celebration as of below. Stayover is confirmed to be at our lil' Abi's house (kudos to her and her family's kindness in opening it up for us!!)

Hey guys,

on 1st July every year, it marks the anniversary of Trackist, the day where we all came together with one common passion and goal in mind that is to run. every year without fail, we'd celebrate and commemorate this day with no exception.

So for this year, you've been allowed VIP access to dianah's house. you may bring whatever you like to her house to have fun or whatsoever. For instance, jerome could bring his waffle machine thingy if he'd like and xinyun could whip up her 'delightful' spaghetti for us but if she does, count me out (; STRICTLY NO pork, alcohol or dogs. Also dianah has allow us to stay overnight if you wished so you could bring along your soft toy if you really need but not a doggy or piggy one though (; of coz, harmless card games are surely fine but no gambling too.

Now for the plan. We'll be settling dinner in her house so please prepare some food. The kitchen is there for you to show off your culinary skills so please go ahead. We can screen a dvd and lepak after dinner so jerome can share his myriad collection of dvds with us (: we'll play some games after that. I'll prolly bring my twister along so you guys can play (; that's about it alright.

Weekly MacRitchie Run

After the race, we'll be having lunch at the elegant and exquisite Zen Shindo Art Cafe. A little about this cafe, it aims to offer cosy, different and healthy cuisine. In case of bad weather as some of you might be concern, below are the plans.

Situation 1: Drizzle before and after all of you have arrived.
Plan: We will proceed as planned.

Situation 2: Heavy rain and thunderstorm before and after you all have arrived.
Plan: We will chill out at MacDonalds and have breakfast. If after breakfast, heavy rain and thunderstorm still persists, we will play a board game which I will bring on that day. It is an interesting board game and I'm sure most of you would not have played before. The amazing race will commence as long as the rain stop or becomes lighter. The amazing race will be cancelled or postponed if heavy rain and thunderstorms persist after and beyond 1230 hrs.

Situation 3: Drizzle during the course of race.
Plan: We will continue the race.

Situation 4: Heavy rain and thunderstorm during the course of race.
Plan: We will seek the nearest shelter and take a rest. Once the rain becomes lighter or stops, we will continue the race. If heavy rain and thunderstorm persists for more than an hour, we will cancel the race, return and gather at the Log Point.

Of course, even at the event of heavy rain but no thunder and lightning and if both teams agree to move on despite the heavy rain, we are absolutely fine with it too.

Hello guys, it's been a while since we all got together. Just would like to inform you all that on the 26 Dec 2009 next Saturday, there'll be a Trackist outing. No movies, no food gatherings, no Sentosa and no pot luck this time. We'll be having an Amazing Race at East Coast Park instead. I understand you've been informed by Huan Shern about the outing and I thank you for being cooperative in confirming your attendence. For those who have not yet confirm your attendence with him, please do so. I'll be unveiling the details of the Amazing Race here.

Date: 26 Dec 2009
Day: Saturday
Time: 0930 hrs
Meeting Place: At the skating area beside the bicycle rental shop after you've exit the underpass.
Attire: Lightly attired ie. PT shoes and PT kit.

Misc.: Water is provided throughout and along the Amazing Race as there is a mobile water point. Lockers is provided so you can deposit your stuffs and need not carry them during the race. You may wish to bring extra clothing to change after the Amazing Race. After lunch, it's Free & Easy as in we can cycle or roller skate or do anything you want.

IMPT: Below is a video of the song 'Nobody' by the Wonder Girls. Please do take a few looks at the video and be familiarise with the actions and dance moves at the chorus of the song from 1.13mins to 1.29mins. This is because you may be required to do this. I'm not stopping you to put the video in any video storage device that you have so that you can use the video as a reference if you had to do the dance.

LASTLY on how to get there. If you wanna make sure you appear at the right meeting place and be able to find me and Huan Shern, I suggest you heed my advice. Take MRT to Eunos and take bus 13. When you see this very obvious big multi-storey carpark with blue railings as shown below at the FRONT of your bus, please alight. Cross the road, walk straight cutting the HDB flats and you'll see an underpass on your left. Pass the underpass and you'll see us then.

This is the big multi-storey carpark with very obvious blue railings that I mentioned above.

Howdy peeps.

I am here to blog on behalf of Dianah about the upcoming Trackists' outing that will be held on 24th October (Saturday).

For Trackists participating in the Nike Human Race, please meet at 6.45AM SHARP, City Hall Control Station. The first wave flag off time will be at 7.10AM.

Those who have yet to view the race route, click here to take a look at the route. A reminder to those who have yet to collect the race pack, kindly do so by this Sunday 18th October.

For Trackists who're not participating in the race, please meet us at 11AM, Suntec Convention Center.

Tentatively, we will have lunch first before proceeding to watch the movie, The Blue Mansion over at Marina Square. Tag on the board if you've any other suggestions.

There will also be another Trackists' outing set (tentatively) on the 7th November (Saturday). Kindly keep that day free for now. More details will be let known to you all when the date draws nearer.

Hello Trackists. Not sure how many of you actually bother to check the blog (I feel like I'm talking to myself), but I am here to inform you that there will be an outing on the 22nd August. Since only Jerome cannot make it (sorry!), I'll not be changing the outing date.

Outing details as followed-

Venue: Sentosa

Time: 10AM @ Vivo City 3rd Level, Monorail Station

As usual, we'll leave by noon and head back to Vivo for lunch.

I reckon this is the best way to accommodate those that need to leave by noon and those that can only come after noon.

Bring snacks, extra change of clothes (if you intend to swim).

Anyone who has frisbee or ball, bring them along too.

There will be a post Christmas & pre New Year outing on the 28th December (Sunday). Yes. It has been some donkey years since we have dinner together. High time we get together for some catching up don't you think?

Xinyun has suggested going Seoul Garden @ Ngee Ann City. Are you all in favour of that notion? And yes, it will be much appreciated if you all can don on the Trackists' jersey. When was the last time we wore that all together huh? Meeting time will be set at 5pm tentatively.

I just finished my exam today, quite late compared to many which ended last week or even earlier. time really flies, especially for those schooling, congrats to those who have endured the A levels and those who survived the first sem of university! as for guys, hang on there!! =]

A great wkend is awaiting us (those taking part in Stand Chart), all the best to those running. Catch u guys ard if possible! Let us be in the fittest form possible for the race, despite the lack of/no trainings. Cheers to all, hopefully in the years to come, we'll still be in this race.

2 years plus have passed since we came together for the cause known to mankind as Track & Field. Hence, Trackists was formed back there & then. Good times shared, tough trainings we had, jokes & silly nicknames we gave each other, and of course, the races we went through. All these while, memories are trails we leave in our life.

Now that everyone's in their own path, we run our own routes. Our future will most probably be very different; some may choose to go abroad in the near future, some may stay. Everyone would have a different career & lifestyle definitely. Whether all of us will be able to meet up with full strength, that's an unknown. Memories will still linger somewhere no matter what.

But to all these dear friends and mates out there, remember the cause you run for. Is it for the win? Is it for the experience? Is it for yourself? Or is it for others? Whatever the reasons may be, make sure it is worthwhile and leaves minimal regrets and chances for despair. This run down the road call Life is not likely to be a smooth one for most, and most of the times there are things we have to face alone. It's like trying to train yourself and force your lazy body to move up that steep uphill route; you'll bound to feel fatigue & demoralised somehow someday.

When that happens, treat it like a race. Though you are facing problems and stress alone with no one to pace you with, at least you have the crowd cheering you on. That's what family & friends are for. Take their support and turn them to empower your motivation to move that extra step with extra effort and pull through. Every step is a step closer to goal.

To all of you out there, make sure you people hang in there in this war zone with bullets known as stress flying around and traps labelled as obstacles lying all over the place. Stay healthy in terms of emotional, mental & physical. Do take care and smile often.

there's infinite possibilities on this world. too much uncertainty and hence too much worries. to be realistic, you'll keep accounting for the worst case scenario, hence the pessimism. to be optimistic, all the thoughts, talks and action seem to be acting for a dreamy castle with no actual foundation.

so, thinking far and preparing oneself is the way? or would believing in your dreams be the key to this world?

if one were to say find a balance point between this two, then when to do what?

Hey you guys!

This is definitely my first time writing a post..and it feels weird. Nonetheless, I shall try my best to engage so that you'll keep coming back to the blog to read up entries by other trackists.

First all, let me tell those who do not know that I have been trying to pay back money to people I owe to.

Let me tell you, I have not paid for that Nike bottle we all have been using. So I searched for Dianah- the person who manages our money matters- only to be told "it's ok". Haha.. after 2 years of using the bottle, only now have I actually bothered to pay back, I'm that pathetic ok.. But, on a serious note, whoever found that during a certain time when we all bought the bottles and you found yourself $18 short, come and find me.

To Jerome, I have not paid for the tickets to the Singapore vs Malaysia match.

And to the people I took taxi with after the match..I did not contribute to taxi fare.

Ok... thats all the money matters from me which I must say out. If I have forgotten anything else, please tell me. I want to be debt-free. And of course, guilt-free :)

Ok back to a more cheerful mode. I realised the blog has been filled with upcoming events. For those of you who can make it, do participate. For those who cannot, try to join other events. I guess these are the ways we can meet up with each other and crap together. Oh.. besides running, how about other activities like Blood Donation? Hehe.. Jack's arms look inviting for needles. Jack..why not you go for the monthly aphresis, donate blood platelets :)

..I do not know what else to write. So I shall do a "vomit" of what is happening to me right now. I am currently in SIM Global Campus, doing University of London's Bsc in Management with Direct Hons. Haha.. for year 1 units, I have to do things such as Intro to Econs, Math and Stats, things which I have never done well in JJ. Will look forward to how I will handle these subjects. As for CCA, I am in the women's soccer team. I still suck..cannot get how you kick without doing a toepoke.

Oh.. and I do have to say something about the Olympics. I am jealous of how some people are born with great physique (look at Phelps - compare his height to mine, it's like Everest vs Bukit Timah) and at the same time I am bloody amazed at his diet (20000 calories per day- did I get it right?) and of course very inspired with his achievements of 8 gold medals. The other one which got me opening my mouth for a mozzy to enter was Bolt's 10.69s dash for the 100m race. That was really fast. And to see that he actuall slowed down a few metres before the final line.. you can imagine he could have probably brought the timing much lower. These people work hard to become champions in their field. And I sincerely feel that the medals or monetary rewards they receive will never match up to the hard work they have put in all along. I feel that what is better is that the rest of us work hard to reach their level. That human spirit and competitiveness to be the best would be the most rewarding thing to see.

And so dear trackist, I pose this challenge to you. Have a dream and set your goal. It does not have to be in sports or academics. How about your social or family life? Reflect on how you were in the past, and see how you are now. Imagine what you want it to look like in the future. Let go of things which hold you back and grab on tight to those which drives you. Go work hard for your goals- be the best recruit, be a better son/ daughter, get that results which you have never achieved before. If you ever find your path scattered with stones of criticism or pebbles of negativity, remember, you can always use a broom and sweep it aside :) The rest of the trackists are here to keep you going and see you shine. Together, each of us will become a greater person.

i realise that it's quite a challenge to write on anything cos there's so much yet so little to say.

here i go.
firstly, i hope that everyone is a-ohkay and in the pink of health(: as you slack, mug,starting to hit the books or frowning upon being 'zombified' haha.
for those/the..
slacking: treasure the moments you have cos only once in a blue moon do you have absolutely nothing to do (related to academics especially)haha
mugging: persevere and think optimistically kay? i'm sure all will pay off(:

Hi Everyone!!

It's really getting quite dusty here. Seems like hardly anyone will drop by here huh..well i'm just here to drop a post before the hectic school life starts once again.

It's been Eight Months since we last put on that brown uniform and activities for the entire Trackists have ceased down. I'm sure everyone misses those trainings(and perhaps races?), bowling(oh my, that's pretty long ago), studying sessions(yes, some will thank god that it's over), hanging out, gatherings, celebrations. I wonder when will we be getting back to those times, seemingly carefree, playing around like there's nothing in the world to worry about, maybe the answer is never. sigh.

For the guys, Press On!! A quarter of the miserable life has passed(for most of you), things shall get better right? If you think you are still suffering there, think of all the obstacles you have overcame from the time when you are still starting from scratch as a newbie. Well, that's life, accept it early and you'll handle it better.

For the girls, Study Hard(once again)!! Yes, the uni life is awaiting for us, what appears to be a long wait is finally here (just a couple of days to go, incredibly fast i would say). It calls for more self-discipline than ever (and maybe self-motivation). SDSM remember? haha.

To Jenn, a crucial period for you now, Jia You! Don't spend too much time on the computer, wish you all the best for your prelims! =) The sky now may look overcast, but you'll get to see the sunshine soon. Just hang on all the way!!

Oh and almost all you girls have signed up for the Nike Human Race (in fact there seems to be a sudden flux of ppl(those who don't really join races) joining this race). Yeah hope you all will have a great time out there!

And to advertise here for Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, for those interested pls register early, don't miss the early bird period! =)

Walk for our Children 2008 by the Singapore Children's Society

Date : July 27, Sunday
Venue : Fort Canning Park, Fort gate
Time : 7.30 am – 12 pm
Walk route : Estimated 3 km

Join us at our annual Walk for our Children. This year, you can expect a larger scale event and more activities for the children and families. More than 3,500 walkers are expected to turn up. Participants will each receive a goodie bag. There will also be a carnival at the end of the walk and you can look forward to getting some bargains at the flea market.

Registration is free. All proceeds will go to Singapore Children’s Society.

Alright. It's a little dampening of sort to have most of the guys in army, and most of the girls working. Outings are almost reduced to zilch. And I've no idea what's going on in each and everyone of you little world. And. I DO MISS YOU ALL LOTS.

Appreciate it if you can just blog a little about your daily life. Esp those with your own private blog. Update as and when you can. And yes guys. I know army is draining your life away, but it couldn't hurt to just let us all know if you're dead or alive right? Wonder how long has it been since I've blogged here. Hope everyone's doing well. Here's a short post since the last one which was quite some time back..

In any case, just felt like blabbering here to clean up some dust and wondering if anyone actually frequent this blog. Training back in JJ has ended for most of us with exception of Jennifer and so the time we meet is getting lesser by the days. For me, I guess I'm doing quite alright in Tengah Air Base as a medic in 24hrs medical centre. A bit busy here and there and as usual most would complain like me on how SAF sucks and all, but still manageable. Not been chatting with you guys so don't really know what's life like for you people. Hope you guys are moving along fine..

Well, I guess that's all I want to blabber for now. Absence makes the heart grows fonder as they say, and I'm really missing the times we enjoyed together. Hope to meet all of you sometime later when we are all free though it may be hard. In any case, please take care and smile often =)

Alright guys, I'll propose two plans for the upcoming trackist outing. Please indicate on the tag board your preference thanks. Oh and both plans are kayaking outings.

Plan 1
This plan aims to involves ALL of the trackist members as such we will be kayakking at Sentosa where all of us can kayak together. I've looked up some information from the Internet regarding about kayaking at Sentosa. It does seems so that we need no basic certificates in order to kayak so we can all kayak together and after that have our dinner at probably Breeks or Swensens? Information of getting there if some are unsure, please refer below.

Getting There,

By Bus: Upon arrival, take Blue Line shuttle bus and stop at the Ranger Station. It is a two minute walk up the road.

By Monorail: Stop at Siloso Beach Station, and take a ten minute walk to Gunner Lane

Plan 2
If there are some who still do not wish to kayak with us then please opt for Plan 2 in which the kayaking outing will be held at one of the Sea Sports Club such that we can utilise our membership card. For this, you'll need a basic certificate of a minimum Star 1 in order to kayak there. After kayaking, the people who didn't kayak earlier with us can meet us later for dinner and perhaps other activities if the night is still young? So that's it for plan 2.

Your job is to decide if you would prefer Plan 1 or Plan 2 and please indicate in your tags at the tag board. Which ever you choose, please also provide some dining places for our dinner. For people who choose Plan 2 AND are kayaking, much appreciated if you could give me your choices on which Sea Sports Club you'll wished to kayak. Oh and for those who are working, please indicate which days you'll be free or if you would prefer having the outing on weekends. So i guess that's it for now. Ciao guys and hope to see ya soon.

Hello guys, I'm here to post the Runspiration Crew Positioning info.

For abby, xinyun & me, we'll be stationed at the Padang.
For Abby:
Job Scope: To coordinate and ensure individual teams arrive from their performance points and to guide the teams to the holding areas.

For Xinyun:
Job Scope: To round up team involved in performance and prize awards at the holding area.

For Shu Rong:
Job Scope: To round up teams that are ready for performance, prize presentations & to lead teams to stage area.

Take note that all of us are assigned with a male partner. Contact details of your partner will be passed to you asap.

For Dianah & JunCheng, both of you will be at Sector 5.
To give a brief guide, basically the whole stretch of the 42km is divided into 5 sectors. Along these 5 sectors, there will be 20 schools performing or rather they serve as a motivation drive for the runners.

Job scope: To ensure teams arrived at performance points at stipulated time and departure of teams from sector to Padang. To constantly have the full manifest list of teams, teacher's-in charge contact number as well as Bus Driver's contact numbers.

The responsibility for both of you will definitely be heavier. In addition, you guys are required to know or memorise the locations of the performers. I'll pass you guys the maps asap.
Also, both of you may be located in sector 5 but both of you are under different in-charge.
Both of you are assigned with a female partner. Likewise, contact details of your partner will be given to you asap. Please also take note that you are to board the same bus as the performers once they are done and to report back to Padang.

Note to all volunteers:
-Please report to the Volunteer's tent at Padang by 4am. Do not be late.
-You are required to key in all your Sector's in charge, assistant/partner, bus driver contact details into your phone before the day of the marathon.
-You are advised to have your breakfast before you report at 4am.
-Bottled water will be loaded onto the assigned bus together with snack packs.
-Lunch will be provided at the Padang at 2pm.
-All volunteers (regardless of your location) are to report back to Padang once the event is over.
-Take note that you are NOT ALLOWED to cross the path of the runners at any point in time.
-Keep a close watch on the performers(some of them are really young). There may be a possibility of the performers feeling unwell (dizzy, heat stroke etc) as they will be standing under the sun from 6.30am-1.30pm to perform. If it happens, report such incidence to your in charge immediately. I reckon this will apply more to Dianah & JunCheng.

Other general info:
-Pick up time for Runspiration teams at point of origin: 5.30am
-Teams to reach designated performance point: 6.00am
-Performance duration: 6.30am-13.30pm
-Pick up time from performance point to Padang: 11.00am-11.15am
-All teams to reach Padang: 12.00pm
-Prize presentation ceremony: 12.30pm
-Event ends: 2.00pm

*Jack's duty is still unconfirmed.

Hello guys. Gosh I've been posting a lot. Bear with me though...
Anyway, for the girls, xinyun has gladly open up her house for us to put our belongings and to prepare for prom(make up, hairdo etc). Yes, ONLY the girls.

As for the guys, I'm sorry. I have no idea what to do. So I guess the plan is we'll just roam the streets after prom is over. Let's just go Zouk ok. Xinyun say she will feel safe if the guys are there to keep watch. Lol. Nevertheless, we're going as a big group, so I guess it will be fine.

On another issue, I'll post the Standard Chartered Volunteer positioning info tomorrow. Guess it will be beneficial to those taking part in the marathon and for those who will be giving the meeting a miss tomorrow.

Hello people,
Appreciate it if you guys can tag back with regards to the resort booking.
In addition, rooms are really limited.
Just a side note- Treasure Sentosa Resort is pretty near the Amara Country Club.
Silosa Beach Resort is pretty far away.
And it will be good if we can have at least 8-10 people who agrees to it. Cost will be cheaper with more people agreeing right.

Another issue is since the resort room strictly stated that max 3 people, why not we'll just use the room for changing and to put our belongings. Basically, we won't be sleeping in it. I reckon we are not going against the rules then? The question I have is are you guys really willing to fork out at least $23+ bucks just to get a room for changing and to put your belongings.

By the way check in time is 3pm and check out time is 12pm the next day.

Let me know latest by Friday. Just tag on the board. If there are less than 8 people who agrees to the booking of resort, I'll not book it.

Hello guys, Jc has left a message on my tag board regarding the booking of the chalet. (Prolly asking me to pay via my credit card right? Lol. kidding.)

Anyway, I've already check it out. Don't pin our hope on the cheapest resort available ie Coastal Sand resort at Sentosa. I've checked it out and it's fully book all the way till the end of December.

I've check other resorts available in Sentosa. The cheapest will either be Silosa Beach Resort or Treasure Sentosa Resort.

Total amount (including GST): $223.63

Apparently, it's stated on the website that max of 3people can be in one room. So I'm not sure if they will be happy to find that we got more than 3 people in one room.

They did not indicate the max number of people in one room. But I guess the same rules will apply on the max number of people in one room-3.

I really had darn lot of fun with you guys ,extra visits to ice cream palours ,rotting ,slacking and eating more than we train ,getting burnt in the sun due to traininng and race ,and nonetheless the uncountable outings that we had ,the playing of sand,mud,picture taking ,haha I used to think that they were redundant until now that you guys are about to graduate ,I hope that you guys continue to keep this going ,the new track blog will be (crossthetrack.blogspot.com)as in new badge.

1.wei jian:I don't really hang out with you and all ,but you are seriously humourous ,you stated a new rule,if a girl cannot beat you in a sprint you will make her do 100000000 push ups :)No doubt you are an extremely fast sprinter ,that will leave all the girls dead

2.jack:you are the guy with those extremely huge calf muscles with rubbish all the time ,You are really a nice guy ,wish you all the best in everything of life

3.jerome:mr muscle man ,thanks for being our stand in captain and religiously training ,its our bad that both of us pulled out from the race last minute.Train hard ,i believe you will go far,if you are still interested in running .

4.lastrina:I stuck to you mostly till you left track ,honestly speaking ,i was pretty upset that you left track ,trainings and outings were really fun with you around .I guess you have grown out of soccer guys ,all the wk/wy

5.meiqi:thanks really for being our captain ,i respect you for whatever you do ,your determination,and not allowing me to slack ,running despite injuries and all .I will always remember that you bruised yourself so badly because you were kind enough to donate blood.Thank you for going for biathlon with me even though it was so close after nats .The biathlon will be one race that i will never forget .

6.kaidi:hmm,you did not train much with us ,i remember once or twice only .You are one crazy person who stay up at unearthly time to play com.Talk more.Take care

7.juncheng:hey hello another captain ,you formed the trackists right,out of random people,i guess you have gone through enough shit for us,injuring your leg and so on ,please take care of yourself ,don't break anything anymore .Thank you for always motivating all of us to run and all ,i would say you had been a pretty good leader .

8.abi:hello ,our penguin who is extremely adorable ,in fact i don't even know why they called you that .jia you in everything you do ,trust in the Lord always .I kept saying that i'm gonna swim with you but have not done it yet :)

9.dianah:thank you for all the outings /celebrations ,coordination and all that ,i know that it is not easy ,and thank you for being our pro photographer who manage to take photos of almost every event ,good or bad ,food ,moment .Thank you for all your birthday cards and messages ,scandals ,pairing up almost everyone .Keep running ,keep going .

10.shurong :similar to dianah ,thanks for all the planning that both of you have put in ,i know it requires lots of effort ,those deft fingers and excellent photographic skills .you have an amazing digestive system ,eating so much and not grow fat at all .thank you for generous cny invitations to your place and free helping of ice cream .keep smiling .you are an amazing girl who comes out of sentosa still fair.

11.xin yun :you are patient ,understanding ,caring and kind (all the attrbutes=good wife)no wonder they call you auntie .i will miss your moan and groans during training and barginning with mr ang for slacker training and fewer sets ,i desperately need you now,an eloquent speaker if not i will really die ,trainings getting tougher.

12.nic: thanks for being my going home buddy after outings and being my swim mate for the period before biathlon .i guess we share similarities ,we both suck in physics (jk),we both like to swim ,we both live in some isolated suburban area called jurong .all the best in everything you do .we can swim some other time again .(thanks for telling me that i don't suck in swim)

13 .huan shern:i guess you are extremely nice to all your friends(nice guy for grabs ,girls alert).hmm you slack off training but when you train you are like torpedo .wow.ex class mate ,i wish you all the best in everything .

Hey Guys,

It's been long since I've blogged and I felt that I should do so 'cos there is now 1 month plus worth of dust right here which chokes me everytime I popped by. LOL! Yea we are finally 1 years old already and time really do fly. I'm glad that I've met you guys and forged such unbelievably superb friendship with all of you.

I'm sure right now everyone is mugging their head off. It's now our last stretch for the race we've been running ever since last year march after JAE. Our final trial is approaching real fast: A Levels. For those who has done well in their Mid-Year, well done and keep it up. For those who didn't (like me who studied hard but was a bit disappointing), don't worry about it. I'm sure we can figure the way out somehow. Like training, we just need to perservere on to see the improvement. Everything we do just require that stubborness to fight failure, that little bit of motivation to push that extra mile and every bit of determination makes a bit of difference. Everyone's in this together and we will make it through I'm sure.

This may or may not be the last entry I will be entering for this year. I'm not expecting much updates on tagboard nor on the blog 'cos all of us need more focus. Yet, whenever if any of you are stressed out, remember that though busy we are just a phone away. Sparing some time to chat of a cup of coffee somewhere for that little while won't hurt I guess. Nevertheless, study hard, study smart. GAMBATE TRACKISTS! =)

-watch Pirates of the caribbean 3 (at either cineleisure, plaza singapura or the cathay. depending on the availability of tickets)

Anybody unable to make it or will only be joining us for part of the outing, pls inform me.

Hi peeps! The sch’s sports meet is ard the corner n the heats/finals will b held nxt wk. Tough wk ahead for those who haf heats/finals on more than one days, so do rest well and gd luck to all those racing!!

Winning is not important, but if u have the ability, y not go all out for it? Here’s the chance for u guys to sweep back the JJ medals. Lolx. Run ur own race n no matter how u fare, u’ll be a champion.

The race might not seem tat long if u enjoy the process. So enjoy it!! =P

01/05/07, a great day indeed.

Thanks guys, for making this outing a special one for me and the other two May babies. Time flies, it's already May of our second year in JJC. You guys have been so great that I feel sad in which why we meet each other at such times when we have to go through all the chaos and stress. However, without you all I guess life in JC was really meaningless with all the messy, long and tiring study time.

Since this is the second time I've ever celebrated a birthday, I must say it was a memorable one. Those touching messages and photos compiled with thanks to Shurong and of course, all of you who wrote them, and the two great present I've received made my day. I'm so sorry that I had to leave early, in actual fact is due to my injuries all acting up already and I didn't wish to spoil the day by making you all worry, which is why I wanted to accompany Nic home. I hope you guys had a great time out there and I appreciate all that was done =).

Time is running out before we face the final ordeal in our JC life. It is going to be a tough one, with lack of time, lack of sleep and full of stress. Nevertheless, I remember saying this before to some, if not, all of you. Training is just a reflection of life; the more you endure, the more effort you put in, they will fuse together with your passion and mindset to let you see the results. I hope you guys can remeber this: we are all running through this maze full of traps at this point of time, and we will eventually make it to the end together as a team.

Play hard, study smart. Thanks for everything you guys gave me. Take care.

Lunch Venue: Pizza Hut OR Pasta Mania ( To be decided on that day)

For people who have yet to confirm with me if they are going next Tuesday, please inform me by this Sunday.

Hey guys,

Those who ran in the races on Saturday and Sunday, hope you all enjoyed the race and do rest well! For those who didn't but went to support, hope you guys did have fun (I'm quite sure you all did with the kind of craziness in you all =X). I'm sorry that I couldn't make it down to meet you all and have a blast 'cos my leg isn't following my will. But nevertheless, want to remind you all to rest well for tomorrow's lesson 'cos it would be yet another hectic week. Do drink more water to ensure you people don't fall sick.

Lastly, do study hard and play hard. Balance life even when it's hard to do so. We'll work together and strive on for good grades. See you guys around!

Running doesn't end after our inter school competitions. Not all of us might want to continue competitive running. But that doesn't mean we should stop. There are always races like real run and standard chartered marathon. Of course for those who wish to compete, there is always the national track and field or the SAA all comers. Be it competitive or not, running is good for us. So keep running people!!lol
